Role: UI Developer
Job Location:
Tempe, AZ
Duration: 12+ Months Contract with possibility of extension
Must Have- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills *
- Participate as a technical expert in design, development, testing, and debugging new system modules or enhancements to existing application
- Analyze problems and provides recommendations for application improvements
- Help design and develop solutions to solve problems considering software/hardware capacity and limitations, operating time and desired results
- Work with infrastructure and peers to determine implementation details for enhancements and applications
- Partner with business to come up with application/solution designs
- Work with a team to create project estimates based on business requirements
- Expected to provide a work breakdown of projects and enhancements
- Expected to participate in complete project lifecycle up to and including project implementation and work well within a team environment
- Provide technical guidance as needed in the requirements, planning, modeling, development, deployment and support of the system
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal business customers, internal IT support groups and vendors to achieve project goals
- Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training
- 7+ years of development experience
- Knowledge of RESTful principles and experience using REST APIs
- Experience building applications with Angular
JS framework - Knowledge of responsive web application design principles. Experience with Bootstrap framework is a plus.
- Experience with a variety of technologies including: UNIX, Windows, SQL, Java, Intelli
J/Net Beans/Eclipse, Tomcat - Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Airline business systems knowledge - a plus
