This is a contract to hire Functional Business Analyst role focusing on translating business needs into clear, testable software requirements. You’ll act as the connective tissue between stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational workflows.
This role is heavily hands‑on and functional, not just documentation. You’ll influence scope, manage competing priorities, and help shape how software solutions are built and delivered. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys owning requirements and driving clarity across teams.
Required Skills & Experience- Experience designing and documenting enterprise software solutions
- Strong ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
- Hands‑on experience with Azure Dev Ops or Jira
- Experience managing scope, change, and competing priorities
- Strong communication and critical‑thinking skills
- Experience supporting multi‑release software products
- Background working closely with engineering teams
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience
- 40% — Azure Dev Ops or Jira (user stories, backlog management)
- 25% — Functional requirements & process modeling
- 15% — Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- 10% — Data requirements & business rules
- 10% — Stakeholder collaboration
- 100% Hands On
