IAM Security, Solution & Governance Architect - Vice President

Join MUFG as an IAM Security, Solution & Governance Architect – Vice President.

MUFG is seeking a highly motivated IAM Solution & Governance Architect as part of the Program Governance team to drive the IAM technical program with cutting-edge technology to improve security posture.

• An IAM Security & Solution expert in technologies such as Authentication, MFA, Authorization, RBAC, ABAC, , Provisioning, Privileged Access Management, Secret Management, etc.
• Manage MUFG business relationships and gather IAM requirements across Business Units.
• Publish & manage IAM Security Standards and Guidelines aligned with NIST CSF, CRI, NIST 800‑63‑4, ISO frameworks.
• Publish and manage IAM technical capabilities and features to the IAM Security Standards.
• Work with key stakeholders of the services to ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain close relationship with IAM Architecture and Engineering to publish the 1‑3 year IAM roadmap.
• Manage finances and budgets for the IAM programs & projects.
• Review IAM solutions and manage application onboarding and integration efforts.
• Publish documentation using Confluence, spreadsheets, Word, Visio, etc.
• Create presentations for senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to enhance baseline processes and configuration.
• Generate reports on usage, performance, KPIs, KRIs, etc.
• Understand various applications and systems, including security products, middleware, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, containers, to design IAM integration approaches.
• Analyze security risks and controls and implement cost‑justified solutions.
• Provide technical direction and train new staff on the security team.

• At least 12+ years of experience in IAM technology & security.
• In‑depth knowledge of all IAM domains & technologies, including Authentication, MFA, Authorization, Identity Governance, Provisioning, RBAC, ABAC, risk‑based access control, PAM, Secret Management, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, API Access, Encryption.
• Experience with IAM products such as Entra , AWS IAM, Key Vault, Cyber Ark, Ping Identity, Okta, SailPoint, etc.
• Expertise in NIST, CRI, ISO, and other IAM & security frameworks.
• Ability to map IAM security requirements to solutions.
• Act as an IAM Security Solution Architect.
• Experience creating trending, metrics, and management reports. Power
  
  BI or other reporting tools is a plus.
• Experience in complex, large‑scale environments and hybrid‑cloud operations.
• Knowledge of AWS & Azure platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent industry certifications.

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

• Must work onsite 4 days & 1 day remote out of Jersey City, NJ, Tampa, FL, or Tempe, AZ office.
• Typical base pay range $145K – $185K. Role may be eligible for discretionary performance‑based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
