ETL Developer – Onsite

Our client is seeking a Senior ETL Developer to join their company for a contract to hire position. The ETL expert will design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SQL.

• Location:
  Onsite in Tempe, AZ, Minneapolis, MN, or Charlotte, NC
• Compensation:
  This job is expected to pay about $70-80/hr W2 plus benefits
• Client does not offer H1B sponsorship at time of conversion to permanent employee

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective ETL solutions.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, quality, and pipeline performance.
• Document ETL processes, workflows, and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Contribute to the migration of existing ETL workflows onto future platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data integration technologies.

• Proficiency in Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building ETL data pipelines from diverse data sources.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
