What You’ll Be Contributing

The Solutions Engineer (AI GPU) plays a key role in bridging customer requirements, partner capabilities, and Hypertec’s GPU solution portfolio. Reporting directly to the President of the HSP Division, this individual will support RFQs and RFPs, lead technical solution design, and collaborate with Pegatron, ASUS, CIARA, Dell, and Supermicro (SMC) to deliver optimized GPU systems aligned with customer and market needs.

This position combines deep system knowledge with strong communication and business acumen, requiring both technical expertise and the ability to represent Hypertec in customer and partner discussions globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • RFQ & RFP Support:
    Lead and contribute to technical portions of bid responses, developing GPU configurations and solution architectures aligned with customer specifications.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Work directly with clients to understand technical requirements, data center constraints, and workload objectives to propose optimal GPU-based solutions.

    Collaboration:

    Coordinate with Pegatron, ASUS, CIARA, Dell, and Supermicro engineering teams to evaluate, adapt, and qualify GPU platforms for customer deployments.
  • System Design:
    Translate customer AI and HPC requirements into scalable, validated hardware architectures, ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Performance Validation:
    Assist in benchmarking GPU solutions across NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel ecosystems for training and inference workloads.
  • Technical Enablement:
    Support sales and business development teams with solution documentation, proposals, and technical presentations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with operations, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure deliverables meet cost, performance, and schedule targets.
  • Travel & Representation:
    Participate in on-site customer meetings, technical reviews, and workshops as required (travel up to 25%).
What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, systems design, or presales within GPU, HPC, or AI infrastructure.
  • Technical proficiency with GPU interconnects (NVLink/NVSwitch), PCIe Gen5/6, HBM3 memory, and AI frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor

    RT, etc.).
  • Experience collaborating with multinational OEMs such as Pegatron, ASUS, CIARA, Dell, or Supermicro (SMC).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of interfacing with customers, partners, and executives.
  • Proven success supporting RFQ/RFP processes and developing competitive technical proposals.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
