Human Resources Manager will support planning and execution of HR programs such as recruitment, training, benefits, payroll and team member relations for hotel team members. Plays key role in supporting daily operations of HR department.
RequiredSkills and Abilities
Must have ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with even disposition. Maintain professional appearance and manner at all times. Working knowledge of Federal and local regulations relating to OSHA and worker's compensation. Thorough knowledge of HR practices and procedures as well as considerable knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to HR matters. Ability to effectively deal with associates and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, resolve conflicts and collect accurate information.
Ability to travel to training sessions, hearings, etc. Ability to supervise/direct both subordinate and non-subordinate personnel.
- 3 years of HR experience, with minimum 1 year in a Human Resource Management role in hospitality or related industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration strongly preferred.
- Proven advanced knowledge of employment laws.
- Proven experience with UKG/Ulti Pro systems and payroll processing.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
