A Banquet Houseperson takes part in servicing our food and beverages to our guests around our beautiful rooftop pool and cabanas. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction. A Banquet Houseperson is responsible for the setup, breakdown, and servicing of all meeting rooms and spaces.
Responsibilities- Assist with setup, breakdown, and servicing of meeting rooms and spaces.
- Serve guests in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Skills and Abilities
- Must have the ability to communicate in English.
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Ability to communicate well with guests and be a team player.
- Knowledge of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms (e.g., different table types such as round and schoolroom).
- Ability to lift and move multiple tables, chairs, and podiums weighing up to 100 lbs through a crowded room.
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing up to 500 lbs.
- Ability to perform considerable physical activity on a continuous basis during setup and breakdown.
