Valet Parking Attendant

Overview

The Westin Tempe is looking for a FT - Overnight - Valet-Parking Attendant to join our team.

• Provide valet services by parking and retrieving guest and visitors’ vehicles safely.
• Assist guests with luggage during check-in and check-out and assist with luggage as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report for 3 years; annual renewals; knowledge of basic vehicle functions; ability to drive a manual transmission preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent driving record as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to communicate in English; additional languages valuable.
• Exceptional communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to learn in a changing work environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work beyond scheduled hours if necessary.
• Multi-tasking, telephone etiquette, and strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and to run short distances to retrieve vehicles.

The Valet-Parking Attendant is a key member of the front drive and arrival team. This position provides exceptional hospitality in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner, resulting in high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving vehicles safely and assisting guests with luggage as needed.
