Clinical Program Director
Behavioral Health Connections – Provider of patient‑focused, comprehensive mental health services. We offer mental health evaluations to children, adolescents, adults and older adults in crisis 24/7, including holidays. Our service model focuses on assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition, determining the most appropriate level of care and recommending treatment facilities through tele‑psychiatric assessment and consultation services. Rapid response ensures patients receive the right level of care quickly, expediting their journey to wellness.
Responsibilities- Provide managerial and clinical oversight for all mobile/tele‑video assessors and call center staff.
- Deliver training, supervision, review, and oversight of clinical documentation, ensuring appropriate triaging of patients to the best level of care.
- Supervise daily staff schedule to guarantee 24/7 call center coverage.
- Lead the referral management team, set performance expectations, foster a collaborative work environment, and resolve conflicts.
- Apply best practices in referral and assessment protocols, analyze data to identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills; motivate and inspire team members.
- Establish and uphold referral management and assessment processes, staying current with insurance and regulatory guidelines.
- Use analytical skills to evaluate data, identify bottlenecks, and formulate actionable improvement strategies.

Minimum master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
Licensure And CertificationMeets current state requirements for mental health assessments and/or holds a relevant license in the state where BHC is providing services (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Registered Nurse (RN)).
ExperiencePreferably two or more years’ experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting and experience in health care business development/marketing with measurable results.
