Health Care Accreditation Project Manager Position:
Health Care Accreditation Project Manager
As the Health Care Accreditation Project Manager, you will report to the SVP, Clinical Integration & Implementation and play a key role in our NCQA accreditation and compliance with delegated programs. Key responsibilities will be to review analyses, policies, and other documentation against NCQA guidelines. When gaps are identified, leads development of policies and other documentation needed. Other duties and projects will be assigned based on the needs of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have worked recently in healthcare and has a background in NCQA, CMS, SNP Model of Care, Medicaid regulations, or compliance. The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, independent, and hold themselves to a high standard of work product and professionalism.
Responsibilities- Ongoing analyses of compliance against NCQA and client requirements.
- Tracking and supporting development of annual documents for internal and external review.
- Analysis, review, and modification of policies to ensure compliant and up-to-date.
- Management of NCQA/delegation related external deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Development of tools for tracking and communicating performance and status.
- Build templates and reports which can be used to evaluate performance, as well as track performance.
- Collaborate with operations, information technology and compliance personnel to drive accountability and process improvements.
- Help solve complex clinical and operational issues.
- Complete and manage special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare business administration, legal, operations management, or related subjects.
- 3+ years of experience with healthcare policy or regulations, NCQA requirements, CMS, SNP Model of Care, Medicaid requirements, or compliance management.
- 3+ years of experience in project or program management experience in health plan or other healthcare organization.
- Self-starter and independent, critical thinker with ability to perform detailed data analysis.
- Must demonstrate excellent professional communication skills through clearly written, concise and comprehensive documentation, strong technical writing skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and holds self to high work standards.
