Our Level 1 acute care hospital serves adults and adolescents with a wide range of psychiatric and chemical dependency needs. ResponsibilitiesWe are currently hiring licensed or license‑eligible Social Workers/Therapists to serve as Chemical Dependency Counselors at our Tempe facility. The ideal candidate will be able to facilitate chemical dependency groups in inpatient or outpatient psychiatric settings. Strong group therapy skills, experience in psychoeducation, excellent customer service, and solid clinical documentation skills are essential. Candidates should also have familiarity with the utilization review process and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling (required)
- Licensed or license‑eligible in Arizona: LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LISAC
- Candidates with LAC, LASAC, or license‑eligible status (with a qualifying master's degree) will be considered
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and obtain fingerprint clearance
