Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the closing process by ensuring all required documentation is received, reviewed, and prepared for final loan closing.
  • Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, closers, and title companies to facilitate smooth and timely loan closings.
  • Review closing conditions and confirm that all required documentation meets company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate with title and escrow companies to verify closing details, wire instructions, and settlement statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including TRID and RESPA guidelines.
  • Monitor loan closing timelines, proactively addressing any potential delays or outstanding conditions.
  • Assist with balancing and disbursing loan funds in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all closing documentation and ensure timely updates in the loan origination system (LOS).
  • Provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the closing process.
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the closing department.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage closing, loan coordination, or a related role, preferably in the Non-QM space.
  • Strong understanding of Non-QM loan products, mortgage closing procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with loan origination systems (LOS) and mortgage document management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively address closing-related issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure successful loan closings.
