Mortgage Loan Specialist

Job Description

Workway Banc Force is a professional staffing firm created specifically to service the hiring needs of banks, credit unions, mortgage, and related financial services firms. We are looking for an experienced temporary Mortgage Loan Specialist for our credit union client.

Your specific duties will include:

• Work onsite for hours of business 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Provide full-cycle support for mortgage department
• Review mortgage loan applications for completeness and accuracy
• Collect, verify, and organize borrower documentation
• Calculate income for both W-2 and self‑employed income
• Review title commitments and title policies
• Work in CALYX POINT
• Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications for the position include:

• 3 years mortgage financing industry-related experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with mortgage regulations: TRID (TILA- RESPA INTEGRATED DISCLOSURES)
• Strong communication and customer service skills, both written and orally
• Proactive, self‑directed professional who excels in critical thinking and independent problem‑solving
• Strong computer skills; minimum of 6+ months experience working in CALYX POINT
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, however not required

Pay Rate : $29.00 - 31.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
