Commercial Construction Controller

You’ll lead the financial heartbeat of the company and partner closely with ownership and operations.

• Full-cycle accounting and monthly close

• WIP schedules and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition

• Job cost reporting and margin analysis

• Cash flow forecasting and working capital strategy

• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and compliance

• Support PMs with cost visibility and projections

• Lead audits, banking relationships, and reporting

• Build and mentor an accounting team

• Improve systems, processes, and financial controls

This role blends hands‑on execution + strategic leadership.

• 5+ years in accounting/finance leadership

• Construction General Contractor job cost accounting experience required

• Strong knowledge of WIP schedules & POC revenue recognition

• Experience with Sage, Viewpoint, CMiC, or similar systems

• Comfortable partnering with project teams and executives

• CPA or CMA preferred but not required

• Procore experience is preferred

• Visible impact on every project
