Production Controller US
EMD Electronics is looking for a dedicated Production Controller to join our team in the United States.

Your RoleAs Production Controller, you will act as the financial partner for Electronics production sites in the US (Carlsbad and Sheboygan). You will collaborate closely with site leadership to enhance financial efficiency, coach teams on financials and KPIs, and guide financial management processes with local finance and shared services.
Responsibilities- Oversee month‑end closing, monitoring financial data related to manufacturing processes, product costing, and variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights to site management.
- Implement digital solutions to enhance financial performance and operational leverage, partnering with the site director to execute initiatives that exceed financial targets.
- Support CAPEX initiatives to address ongoing business needs and maintain agility in managing changing manufacturing volumes.
- Shape the financial cost structure of the sites to prepare for future growth and demand fluctuations, enabling informed decision‑making focused on performance.
- Provide evaluation and advice on key investment decisions supporting long‑term product portfolio and supply network strategy, maintaining controls on plant processes and participating in business planning to develop forecasts and performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, controlling, engineering, operations or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Controlling with a relevant background in Manufacturing/Production Controlling/Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably with direct plant support.
- Operations controlling experience.
- Strong communication with hierarchical levels and excellent English skills.
- Analytical thinking, financial problem‑solving, and high sense of urgency.
- Mindset on continuous improvement and financial efficiency collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Curiosity about future technologies and experience managing large datasets and digital processes.
- Experience with SAP CO Financial Accounting and Controlling.
- Advanced IT skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP systems.
- Knowledge of accounting regulations, group accounting policies, and application of standards.
- Strong tactical and analytics skills, and experience in a multinational environment.

Pay Range: $93,000.00 – $. The actual compensation offered will be based on location, experience, skills, and other job‑related factors.
