Job OverviewThe Edward Jones Connection (EJC) department acts as a fiduciary, remotely serving our smaller clients in partnership with the clients' local Branch Office Team. Financial Advisors work together with the EJC department service team to deliver an ideal client experience consistent with that of a branch office. This involves serving the client directly over the phone or through technology such as Webex.
The position is salaried and available as a home‑based role with extended hours from 7:30 am–5:30 pm CST. Core hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm local time.
- Act as the Financial Advisor for our smaller clients including SEP/Simple IRA participants while preserving the client connection to the local branch team.
- Work daily to re‑engage clients with the firm and serve existing clients.
- Provide excellent client service and tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Provide initial contact and ongoing guidance and service to clients.
- Research and resolve service issues or unfinished tasks.
- Partner with Client Service Administrators (CSAs) to ensure high level of customer service.
- Keep the department apprised of any compliance/field supervision concerns.
Minimum: $72,700;
Maximum: $119,800.
- Current Series 7 and 66 (or combination of Series 63 and 65) licenses required.
- Insurance license may be required in the future (life, health, variable annuity).
- 5+ years of securities industry experience as a Financial Advisor or in a position supporting advisors.
- Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field strongly preferred.
- Strong critical‑thinking, feedback, communication, and computer skills (Salesforce, Money Guide, Excel).
- Ability to seek, receive, and implement feedback.
- Extensive flexibility, reliability, and sound decision‑making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, including telephone and customer‑service skills.
- Comfortable learning and applying technical information.
