Senior Plumbing Design Technician

Job Summary

Pay: $50.00- $75.00 per hour DOE

We are seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Design Technician to support the design and development of plumbing systems for complex industrial facilities. In this role, you will lead the layout and routing of plumbing systems
, develop design documentation, and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure accurate and code-compliant designs.

This position involves working on advanced industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing facilities, clean rooms, and other high-tech facilities
.

• Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial plumbing systems

• Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details

• Support planning, concept development, and detailed design phases

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams

• Ensure designs comply with plumbing codes and industry standards

• Produce accurate design documentation using AutoCAD and Revit

• Support project teams in delivering high-quality design packages

Note:

Occasional travel may be required for onsite project support.

• High school diploma or GED

• 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience

• 4+ years of Revit design experience

• 5+ years of industrial plumbing design experience

• Strong knowledge of International Plumbing Code (IPC) and Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)

• Experience with
  semiconductor, cleanroom, data center, or advanced manufacturing facilities

• Technical or Associate’s degree in a related field

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
