We're looking for a Piping Project Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. This is a hybrid position—ideal candidate will be located in Portland
, Oregon,
Tempe
, Arizona,
Moon Township
, Pennsylvania or Boise
, Idaho.

Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects.

• Facilitating project execution for the piping discipline, including
• Helping develop and execute a schedule that the design team can meet
• Reviewing resource allocation and coordinating to ensure our work meets our quality standards and fits within the project schedule
• Reporting on progress and adjusting plans to ensure project success
• Working with multi-disciplined team to plan and execute work in a cross-functional way
• Facilitate and lead meetings with stakeholders to align deliverables with client expectations and ensure project documentation for key assumptions
• Interfacing with key engineering disciplines, specifically process and mechanical engineering, pipe stress, and structural
• Ensuring proper Quality Assurance (QA) for layout and design of process and mechanical piping

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• At least 5 years of experience working on manufacturing design projects as a discipline lead, project engineer, or project manager

• Electronics industry experience (semiconductor)
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD based software

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
