About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Telecommunications BIM Designer to support complex industrial, semiconductor, and advanced facility projects. This role is responsible for developing and managing coordinated 3D BIM models and construction drawings for telecommunications systems.
You will work closely with telecom discipline leads and multidisciplinary engineering teams to produce clash‑free, constructable design deliverables aligned with client and industry standards.
Pay: $45.00- $61.00 per hour DOEKey Responsibilities
Develop and manage Revit BIM models for telecom systems
Produce coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other BIM leads
Ensure compliance with client modeling standards and design specifications
Perform clash detection using Navisworks
Interpret wiring/cabling layouts and telecom system connections
Estimate modeling/design hours based on markups and direction
High school diploma or equivalent
8+ years of Revit BIM design experience
4+ years of telecommunications systems design experience
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Understanding of codes, standards, and construction specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
6+ years of Revit MEP experience
Knowledge of TIA standards
Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facilities
Experience with paging, AV, DAS, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems
Understanding of network topology and control systems
