Key Responsibilities Utilize advanced analytical tools to assist with investment decisions in generation, storage, and transmission capacity Simulate power system operations and assess resource adequacy, reliability, and transmission congestion Develop and validate economic hypotheses regarding power system operations and prepare detailed study reports
Required Qualifications Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics;
Ph.D. preferred Over 10 years of experience in the power industry and production cost analysis
Experience with power system modeling tools such as PSSE and PSLF At least 5 years of experience in grid planning or wholesale electricity market operations Significant experience in developing energy market policies and engaging in regulatory discussions
