Systems Engineer
Lead Inbound/Outbound solution design for the following:
- Design storage control and RF integration
- Design good receipt/putaway and internal warehouse tasks
- Approve integration with production and outbound processes
- Validate staging and freight document flows
- Approve integration with BN4L and transportation management
* Onsite is a couple of weeks for design sessions and then a few weeks through the year - maybe 10-20% travel total*
The customer is a leading, global OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) provider serving top-tier customers. The company is investing in an advanced semiconductor plant in Peoria, Arizona, which requires a modern digital backbone to support next-generation manufacturing and supply chain processes. The customer is undertaking a transformation program to modernize their digital core which includes upgrading their current ERP solution to S/4
HANA on private cloud and re-implementing/optimizing post migration select process areas and implementing new scope areas and solutions listed below. This is a standard-led global template across 21 sites in 9 countries, built on Clean Core principles for scalability, upgrade safety, and innovation.
This project is based on SAP executing a DMLT SDT migration with time slice and a design success model for the integrated SAP solution design.
The solutions in scope are based on a brownfield migration for the current ERP ECC 6.7 to S/4
HANA on RISE that will be executed in parallel with solution design Explore activities.
- The project is based on executing a global transformation to SAP S/4
HANA 2025 under RISE, leveraging Selective Data Transition (brownfield) for its core ERP with 3-year time slice and targeted greenfield implementations for advanced capabilities such as:- Ariba/SCC/BN4L for procurement and logistics collaboration
- EWM for warehouse automation
- BTP & Analytics for innovation and insights
- Signavio & LeanIX for process and architecture governance
SAP will be responsible for design related deliverables for the SAP scope areas in the Prepare and Explore phases – general activities and skills will include:
- Preparing materials for fit-to-standard workshops
- Delivering fit-to-standard and design workshops
- Capturing delta requirements and gaps
- Documenting design sections of Explore documents (DVDs, functional specs, Config Specs, Business Scenario Documents)
- Documenting where relevant options and recommendations in KDDs or POVs
- Determining and recommending design against options
- Additional activities include project execution, configuration, build support – responsible for DVDs, KDD, BPDs, Design POV
