Overview
As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, focusing on the design, implementation, and management of electro-mechanical systems. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. Your ability to prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders will enhance transparency and enable informed decision-making.

Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of engineering projects related to electro-mechanical primary control actuations, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities- Lead and manage engineering projects focused on electro-mechanical systems from initiation to completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with electro-mechanical requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation specific to electro-mechanical systems.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success in the electro-mechanical domain.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards related to electro-mechanical systems.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery in the context of electro-mechanical systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members on electro-mechanical engineering challenges.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, focusing on electro-mechanical system developments.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 6 plus years of experience in project engineering or related roles, specifically with electro-mechanical systems.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Technical expertise in electro-mechanical systems, including proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

- Advanced Engineering degrees such as ME (Mechanical Engineering) or EE (Electrical Engineering).
- Experience in risk management and problem-solving related to electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
