Summary
The Nuclear Assurance Vendor Audit Team Lead (ATL) leads multi-discipline and/or multi-utility internal/external audit teams, both domestically and internationally ensuring an effective evaluation of the organization and/or supplier.
Minimum RequirementsA four-year Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND eight (8) years nuclear power plant experience of which two (2) years shall be in Quality Assurance (QA).
OR a two-year Associate's Degree AND ten (10) years nuclear power plant experience of which two (2) years shall be in Quality Assurance.
OR High School/GED AND twelve (12) years nuclear power plant experience of which two (2) years shall be in Quality Assurance.
Qualified to ANSI N45.2.23 and/or ASME NQA-1-2008 with NQA-1a-2009 Addenda as Lead Auditor.

Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications
- Qualified to Nuclear Utilities Procurement Issues Corporation (NUPIC) audits and surveys qualification requirements described in NUPIC procedures and processes.
- Qualified to Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) audits qualification requirements described in NUPIC/NEI procedures and processes.
- Knowledge of the codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to research regulations and requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to convey complex/technical content in a coherent manager.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and write technical documentation and reports.
Nuclear Requirements
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member.
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage.
This includes line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities.
These are conditions of employment at PVNGS.
Major AccountabilitiesThis position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy's Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, "U.S. Export Control Laws"). Therefore, some positions may require applicants to be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. Citizen, a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), a Political Asylee, or a Refugee under the U.S. Export Control Laws.
