Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Tempe, AZ 85284 (100% On-site)
Employment Type: 6 Month Contract with possibilities for extensions (W2 Contract)
Pay Range: $86.00 – $92.00 per hour
Role Overview: BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support a high-impact special project focused on knowledge transfer and product implementation across multiple production sites. This role plays a critical part in coordinating cross‑functional teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring consistent, compliant execution of existing products at primary, secondary, or dual‑source locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multi‑site, cross‑functional teams to implement products across primary, secondary, or dual‑source manufacturing locations
- Review, manage, and coordinate tooling transfers and usage between production sites
- Develop and document manufacturing methods, processes, and sequences for moderately complex products and assemblies
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with customer quality requirements and internal standards
- Identify and document “hidden factory” processes and convert them into clear, standardized work instructions
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with quality, design engineering, and test engineering teams
- Support process optimization and knowledge transfer efforts to enable consistent production outcomes
- Contribute to special projects and cross‑functional initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Technology, Sciences, or Mathematics)
- 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering or related experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment
Preferred:
- Background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience with aluminum and steel sheet metal welding in aerospace applications
- Knowledge of brazed heat exchanger core assemblies
- Experience supporting multi‑site manufacturing environments
- 100% on‑site manufacturing and engineering setting
