This role will play a part in the entire design process, including preliminary assessments, concept creation, leading designs with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers, internal and external problem resolution, drawing and specification production, and ensuring customer and vendor accessibility.

• coordinate cross-discipline activities and identify potential conflicts or inconsistencies with architectural, civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related technical/scientific discipline; master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• Professional security certifications (CISSP, CPP, PSP, etc.) are a plus.
• 12+ years of experience in planning, designing, and commissioning physical security systems and/or communication networks; project management experience is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of physical security systems including video surveillance, access control, biometric systems, and intrusion detection, with familiarity with leading manufacturers.
• Experience with conducting vulnerability and risk assessments and understanding various assessment methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate emerging security technologies and analyze trade-offs, such as multi‑megapixel cameras to thermal imaging cameras or assessing ground‑based radar versus Lidar systems versus other technologies for perimeter intrusion detection.
• Strong understanding of network technologies and cybersecurity principles.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and design collaboration tools.
• Experience with Revit, ACC, BIM
  360, AutoCAD, and/or Micro Station.
• Thorough knowledge of CSI design and construction specifications.
• Experience estimating and scheduling mid‑to‑large‑scale project design effort.
• Knowledge of construction cost estimating for security implementation.

• Leading projects and managing resources.
• Mentoring junior staff.
• Design management experience.
• Design experience in data centers.
