Layout Designer
We are seeking a talented Layout Designer with expertise in Revit and architectural layout for large-scale buildings. The role involves managing stakeholder relationships and designing spaces for projects exceeding 200,000 square feet. This position requires experience in large commercial projects and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities- Obtain and document all specifics regarding projects from site selection and transaction management.
- Research and compile all available information for site development.
- Coordinate all engineering and architectural specifications for each building type, including internal composite coordination and site-specific information.
- Coordinate initial architectural design and permit submittals.
- Develop and provide supporting documents for lease execution, such as site plans, work letters, schedules, and phasing plans.
- Develop initial construction schedules and sequences for construction phasing if necessary.
- Create construction estimates for capital requests and planning efforts.
- Manage due diligence, utility, and other coordination efforts prior to construction hand-off.
- Provide complete documentation for construction handoff, including contacts, drawings, permit status, and other relevant work products.
- Maintain a repository for all pre-construction work products by site.
- Proficiency in Revit
- Experience with BIM
360 - Knowledge of Bluebeam
- Expertise in floor plan layout design
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, drafting, and design
This role requires working onsite five days a week in Tempe, AZ.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
