Systems Engineer

Summary

The primary focus is to create, modify, upgrade, and maintain PLC and HMI applications for Quantum clientele. The applicant must be proficient in the primary focus and self-sufficient in projects. All projects will be conducted within our Tempe, Arizona, engineering office.

• College Degree (preferred):
  Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering
• Technical Degree or Equivalent Degree

• 7 to 10 years (preferred)
• 5 years (minimum)

• Rockwell Automation Logix Designer (RSLogix 5000)
• Schneider Electric Control Expert (Unity Pro)

• In-person position
• Able to write reports, testing plans, procedures, and commissioning documents
• Skilled in developing PLC and HMI applications
• Works well in a team environment
• Able to independently perform on-site startup and commissioning
• Minimal out-of-state travel required (less than 10%)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously while also having advanced knowledge of a diverse range of products and systems
• Proficient at reading and interpreting diagrams and documentation
• Proficient at communicating with clients to understand objectives and preferences
• Demonstrated ability to work with the client and other stakeholders to design detailed control system functionality
• Will respond to service calls to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair programming and system failures

• Demonstrated understanding of networking and routing
