Field Service Engineer – ABB E‑mobility
Location:
Phoenix, AZ (based in Arizona)
Target salary range: $80,000–$92,000 per year, Overtime Eligible.
- Travel approximately 80% of each month to customer locations, including regular overnight stays depending on site location.
- Commission, configure, maintain, and repair complex EV charging equipment.
- On‑site advocate for ABB E‑mobility Services; striving to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in all transactions and relationships.
- Creates technical documentation for learning library and completes support paperwork and reports in a timely fashion.
- Collaborate harmoniously with remote technical support teams, spare parts, and key account managers to identify best solutions, create maintenance plans, identify spare parts suggestions, and more.
- Associate’s degree or military experience and 3+ years in Field Service OR High School Diploma with 5+ years in Field Service.
- Demonstrated success working in fast‑paced environment, learning new ways of working, and technical proficiency in electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Track record of working autonomously, meeting deadlines, and triaging competing priorities.
- Knowledge of the EV charging industry is a plus.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US – This position is not authorized for sponsorship or relocation.
