B&N Civil Engineer Co-op, Traffic Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and learn from experienced professional engineers while serving public clients such as Municipalities, State DOTs, County DOTs, and Metropolitan Planning Organizations
- Typical projects could include conducting traffic and safety analysis, developing traffic simulation models, and designing intersections
- Coordinate with adjacent disciplines such as roadway engineers and transportation planners
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Skills &
Qualifications:
- Current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in engineering (civil preferred) from an ABET accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of your undergraduate degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation a plus, but not required
