Position Summary
The Educator Preparation & Mentoring Coordinator leads district wide efforts to develop, support, and retain high-quality educators. This position oversees the Pathways to Success Educator Preparation Program (EPP), manages the mentor program for teachers in their first three years, supports new teacher induction processes, and coordinates professional development aligned to Tempe Union High School District's instructional priorities and strategic initiatives. This role works collaboratively with district administrators and school leaders to ensure all educators receive the training, coaching, and resources they need to grow professionally and positively impact student learning.

Training And Experience- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably in secondary education.
- Experience providing professional development, instructional coaching, or leading adult learning is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with new teacher induction, mentoring programs, or educator preparation pathways desirable.
- Knowledge of Arizona certification requirements, ADE expectations, and educator licensure processes preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field required
- Master's degree in education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related area preferred.
- Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching Certificate
- Valid IVP DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
