Work Schedule
Morning and evening shift may be available;
Monday-Thursday, 9am-9pm;
Occasional Fridays and Saturdays, 8am-5pm; hours vary, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week.

Job SummaryProvides a high-level of customer service to students and community members by administering a variety of academic, career, and certification assessments at the Rio Salado College Southern Testing Center, located at 3320 S. Price Road, Tempe, AZ 85282. This position follows strict policies and procedures for online test administration and provides technical support to customers and team members in person, phone, and email.
EssentialFunctions
- 70% - Administers a variety of academic, career, and certification assessments to students and community members using various online systems and software while providing a high-level of direct customer service. Acts as the official test proctor for these exams, follows strict policies and procedures. Maintains confidential testing records, databases, exams, and reports, all while working in a team environment. Supports the Southern Student Services Specialist/Technician in ensuring a secure and appropriate testing environment.
- 20% - Assists with technical troubleshooting; provides technical support to students, candidates, and other team members. Utilizes various communication methods to correspond with Faculty, outside departments, and external companies regarding testing issues.
- 10% - Provides general and specific information to students, Faculty, and the public regarding the operation of the testing center. Maintains office systems and procedures; provides general clerical assistance, including answering phones, greeting/directing student/customer traffic. Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED.
Desired Qualifications- Experience providing effective and courteous customer service.
- Experience working with computer applications and software.
- Experience establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- This position may require some evening or weekend hours.
- May require prolonged periods of viewing a computer screen.
- May require lifting up to 20 lbs.
