Birkmeyer General Contractors, LLC is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our commercial construction projects throughout Arizona. This role is critical to keeping projects organized, documented, and running smoothly by supporting Project Managers, Superintendents, and the Estimating team with day-to-day administrative and coordination responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination Maintain project documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, submittals, and change orders Manage document control through Procore (or similar project management software) Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, insurance, lien waivers, and compliance documentation Track submittal logs and follow up as needed Assist with project schedules, meeting minutes, and progress tracking Support procurement of materials and long-lead items Prepare and distribute project correspondence and reports Ensure files are organized and maintained in accordance with company standards Estimating Coordination Responsibilities Support the Estimating team during preconstruction and bid phases Assist with solicitation of subcontractor and vendor pricing Track bid invitations, proposals, and scope coverage Help organize and compare subcontractor bids for review Coordinate transfer of estimating information during project handoff Maintain organized estimating files and bid documentation Qualifications 13+ years of experience in commercial construction or construction administration preferred
