Sr Subcontracts Specialist
As a Sr Subcontracts Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing subcontracting activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and driving cost-effective solutions within our Aerospace Procurement team.
Location:
Tempe, AZ (Hybrid work schedule). For the first 90 days, external new hires must work 100% onsite, M-F.
In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our subcontracting processes, contributing to the successful execution of our aerospace projects and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the development and negotiation of subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify subcontracting needs and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Analyze supplier performance and manage relationships to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontract management or procurement
- Must be a US Person due to contractual requirements
- Proven experience in subcontract management or procurement within the aerospace industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in contract negotiation and compliance.
- Experience with procurement software and tools.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
