DoD SkillBridge Program

Overview

Power Home Remodeling offers the DoD Skill Bridge Program. This 4-6 month program is designed for active and transitioning service members, providing exposure to every department within the company and support from Military Affairs Specialists and mentors. The program aims to build leadership development, real earning potential, and opportunities for upward mobility within the organization. The company has operated for over three decades and generated $1.42B in revenue in 2024, with plans to grow further in the coming years.

• Revenue — High earning potential, client-facing roles in sales and marketing that provide exposure to the business side of operations and leadership.
• Operations — Project management roles within high-performing teams to deliver a five-star homeowner experience.
• Craftsman Academy — A customized program to train transitioning service members to install and operate installation crews.

In partnership with the DoD, the program aims to bring on each candidate full-time. Starting salaries typically range from $50,000 to $80,000, with a sign-on bonus for completing the 4-6 month program. Compensation varies by department; details will be shared during conversations.
