Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Location:
Tempe, AZ (Onsite/Hybrid – minimum 3 days on‑site per week)

Pay Rate: $45.00 - $63.00 per hour (determined by experience)

Employment Type:
Contract (W‑2), 6‑month contract with possibility of extension.

Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support one of our clients by driving high‑impact procurement initiatives that deliver measurable value across cost optimization, supplier performance, and supply chain continuity. This role plays a key part in supporting operational excellence and long‑term sourcing strategy within a complex, cross‑functional environment.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong sourcing experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to influence outcomes across procurement and supply chain organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure sourcing alignment
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers while leading contract negotiations and relationship management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
• Monitor market conditions and industry trends to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply risks
• Support supplier performance management and cost‑savings initiatives
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure sourcing decisions support operational and business goals

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, business, or finance
• Demonstrated success driving cost savings and improving supplier performance
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and supplier management

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supplier development
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functional teams
• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible, e.g., 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Working Model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days on‑site per week based on business need)

• Pay Rate: $45.00 –$63.00 per hour (based on experience)
