Job DescriptionEnterprise Technology, Business, and Finance – Procurement is seeking a Specialist to assist with the purchase of goods and services and to ensure day‑to‑day operations are carried out in accordance with established principles, policies, and objectives. As a member of the Enterprise Technology team, the role carries core responsibilities, including fostering a sense of belonging and cultivating a culture that is relational, visionary, and empowering.

$48,600 – $55,105 per year; DOE
Essential Duties- Prepare online requisitions.
- Process payments.
- Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
- Check shipments on arrival to ensure orders have been filled correctly and goods meet specifications.
- Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
- Analyze invoices to ensure the accuracy of goods or services delivered.
- Maintain knowledge of organizational rules affecting purchases and provide this information to staff and vendors.
- Control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.
- Process reimbursements, purchase of supplies, services, and equipment using PCard and other purchasing documents in accordance with established procurement and financial policies.
- Respond to audit requests and gather documentation for PCards and financial records.
- Perform PCard reconciliations and liaise with staff and suppliers.
- Apply administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing and record management.
- Use Microsoft Office applications, an online financial system, and internal database systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Leverage AI in routine tasks and contribute ideas for using AI to improve unit efficiency and overall performance.
- Foster a positive culture, uphold organizational values, and champion engagement.
- Collaborate across teams and actively participate in ET/ASU events and programs.
- Familiarity with Workday Financial Management System.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in program, project, or initiative management.
- Basic knowledge of project management.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to perform detailed and complex numerical computations and reports, including analysis of budgets, planning, and other management information systems.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Higher education experience.

Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting, requiring extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and computer mouse manipulation.
