Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and assisting with audit and regulatory reporting requirements. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a multi-entity environment.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial accuracy, internal controls, and continuous process improvement.

• Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries. Ensure journal entries are supported by proper documentation.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner. Monitor cash activity and assist with cash forecasting support.
• Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Identify discrepancies and propose corrective entries.
• Assist with preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation. Support external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
• Assist with identifying and documenting accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with monthly management reporting packages. Prepare variance analysis. Perform ad hoc financial analyses as requested by management.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
• Maintain fixed asset register and oversee capitalization and amortization.
• Support revenue recognition process and contract review.
• Partner with operations, AP/AR, and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3 – 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in multi-entity or PE-backed environment a plus
• Experience in sales driven workforce
• ERP experience (Net Suite strongly preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
