Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support the accounting function within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close activities, and ensuring strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑driven setting.

• Manage daily and monthly accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support the month‑end close process with timely preparation of schedules and financial reports.
• Review and analyze manufacturing‑related financial data, including production costs, inventory activity, and operational variances.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, A/R, and A/P teams to ensure proper accounting for inventory movement and manufacturing transactions.
• Monitor and explain fluctuations in balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable standards.
• Assist with internal controls and support SOX‑related processes, if applicable.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit requests.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• CPA or CPA track
• Experience in cost or inventory accounting
