We are hiring a Staff Accountant to support a fast-growing, high-volume organization operating in a complex accounting environment. This is a newly created role driven by growth and increased workload, and the team is hiring with urgency.
This position is ideal for a true staff accountant with strong fundamentals who wants early exposure to advanced accounting topics such as long-term receivables, revenue recognition, credit losses, and intercompany accounting. The learning curve is steep—but so is the opportunity.
You’ll report directly to the Controller and work closely with a collaborative, high-performing finance team that values accuracy, intellectual rigor, and clear communication.
Note: This role is 100% on-site and requires strong cognitive and technical capability.
Key Responsibilities Core Accounting Areas- Account for long-term receivables using the effective interest method
- Support accounting for the sale of long-term receivables
- Assist with revenue recognition under complex arrangements
- Account for credit losses under ASC 326
- Perform intercompany accounting and eliminations during consolidation
- Support month-end close activities
- Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Learn and apply new technical accounting guidance quickly
- 3+ years of recent, pure staff accounting experience
- Strong accounting fundamentals (this is not a finance-leaning role)
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex accounting topics quickly
- High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- Willing and able to work fully on-site
