Senior Accounting Consultant Opportunity

Head Farmer is excited to be partnering with a publicly traded technology company in Tempe, Arizona! Together, we’re looking for an experienced, senior‑level accountant to help with a 6‑week SEC reporting engagement.

The main focus of this engagement is preparing and filing 10‑K and 10‑Q’s, while also conducting heavy accounting research and working with internal and external auditors regularly.

Job location:

Tempe, Arizona. This role is Hybrid
, working 4 days/week in office and 1 day/week remote.

• Preparing and filing 10‑K and 10‑Q’s, including disclosures
• Conducting heavy, thorough research to resolve technical accounting issues
• Assisting with month‑end close and monthly ad‑hoc reporting functions
• Assisting with external filings as necessary, such as proxy and 8‑K forms
• Collaborating cross‑functionally with finance and accounting leaders, and other teams/departments

• CPA highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• Experience working in public audit and/or for large, publicly traded companies
• At least 5 years of senior‑level month‑end accounting experience
• Must have strong knowledge with 10‑K and 10‑Q’s
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), along with excellent prioritization abilities
