Part-Time Sales Teammate

Summary

Part‑time Sales Teammate at The Buckle, Inc. Primary responsibility: create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our guests. Performs sales, merchandising and operational tasks (cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures and routine cleaning).

Pay range: $16.50‑$19/hr base rate plus commission for sales positions. • Greet guests, provide legendary service throughout front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms and register area.
• Answer questions, recommend and select merchandise based on guest needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobe experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education, sharing that knowledge with teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment, exchanges and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales‑per‑hour, average sales and net sales goals set by store management.
• Check out, bag purchases, prepare merchandise for alterations and handle returns and exchanges.
• Maintain visual merchandise management, display new freight and prepare displays.
• Operate POS, balance cash drawers, balance deposits and perform security and loss‑prevention tasks.
• Provide feedback to store manager and leadership team regarding merchandise handling concerns.
• Communicate any policy violations and guest concerns to store manager, district manager and/or human resources in a timely, confidential manner.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, day of and day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, and other business needs.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver 30 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
