Overview
Manufacturing Technician — Temecula, CA. Multiple shifts available.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing production tasks in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety procedures. This role involves working with precision tools, interpreting technical information, and supporting the assembly and inspection of products. Flexibility is required for multiple shifts.
- Perform manufacturing tasks using microscopes and hand tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and work instructions.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Work Experience:
Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience (warehouse roles, forklift drivers, material handlers, and similar positions are not acceptable). - Experience level:
Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience required (medical device experience preferred but not required). - Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) for training and communication.
- Ability to use microscopes and hand tools for precision work.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical information.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
- Must pass eye exam and color vision test prior to employment.
- Physical ability to sit, walk, or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, and pull intermittently.
- Visual acuity for close and distance vision, color differentiation, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Multiple shifts available; must be flexible to work 8- or 9-hour shifts.
- Start times may vary: early shift as early as 5:00 AM; late shift ending as late as 6:00 PM (examples: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM or 6:00 AM-2:30 PM).
