Overview

South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking a friendly, wine enthusiast and dependable Wine Server for our vibrant Tasting Room. The Wine Server will need to have excellent customer service experience and wine knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare designated bar for daily wine tasting and conduct tastings with guests, guiding them on their selections and educating them about the varietals and styles of wine.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the counter areas, sinks and shelves at all times.
  • Maintain honesty and integrity in the pouring of wines and ensure all tasting tickets are marked off appropriately.
  • Use discretion when providing a “sixth” taste for guests as a tool for selling wine or wine club memberships.
  • Alert bar backs when wine inventory is running low.
  • Date all newly opened bottles and discard as instructed by management.
  • Attending outside wine pouring events on behalf of South Coast Winery Resort & Spa as required.
  • Promote the sale of South Coast Winery wine and Wine Club membership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Compensation

$16.90 per hour
