Nursing Supervisor - Float Pool - Med Surg Tele

The Nursing Supervisor will oversee all Med Surg Tele units, assist with budget planning, monitor patient care activities, and manage staff utilization and costs. Responsibilities include overseeing charging processes, ensuring staff education, and providing feedback to improve patient care and staff performance.

Essential Job Duties:
Delegating shift tasks, maintaining positive relationships with medical staff, and assisting with operational responsibilities such as employee hours and QA data collection.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent department-specific experience
• One year of charge nurse or supervisory experience in Med/Surg/Tele
• Graduation from an accredited RN program
• BSN preferred;
  California RN license required
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications
• Basic EKG/tele interpretation skills
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
