Caregiver | Highgate Senior Living – Temecula, CA
Compensation: $17.00–$21.00 per hour

About the roleHelp residents live with purpose each day through whole-person support in our assisted living and memory care community.
Your care keeps daily life comfortable, safe, and dignified so residents and their families can focus on living well.
What you’ll do- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
- Provide companionship and purposeful engagement throughout the day
- Support dining, hydration, and basic housekeeping tasks that promote a safe, clean environment
- Observe and promptly report changes in condition; document care per policy
- Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
- Assist with transfers and mobility using safe techniques and equipment
- Partner with team members and families to honor resident preferences and routines
- Heart for service with patience, compassion, and professionalism
- Strong communication, intuition, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable; comfortable pivoting as resident needs change
- Team player who accepts feedback and builds positive relationships
- Willingness to learn about dementia and support residents living with cognitive change
- Prior work or volunteer experience in assisted living, memory care, or caregiving
- Hospitality, healthcare, or customer service roles
- Multi-tasking positions where kindness and reliability mattered
- Volunteer experience with vulnerable groups
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR & First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to obtain required state caregiving license (if applicable)
- Current negative TB test
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout shift; transfer up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Strong time management; able to work independently with minimal oversight
