• As a Caregiver for The Key, you’ll assist your clients 1:1 with the following activities inside their homes:

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation:
  Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support

At The Key, we pride ourselves on hiring compassionate caregivers who meet the following eligibility requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• At least 18 years of age
• HCA Registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain this upon hire) including meeting state background requirements
• Valid driver’s license, with access to a fully insured personal vehicle
• TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray

Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements and must be eligible to work in the US. Certain additional eligibility requirements, compensation, benefits and bonuses vary by state and location, so please ask for complete details at your interview. In accordance with California Health and Safety Code, fingerprint identification is required as a condition of employment. If an applicant has been convicted of a non-exemptible crime, their conditional offer will be rescinded in compliance with applicable laws.
