. The position is part‑time, available for ICU patients during the daytime shift, and requires a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic background.

ResponsibilitiesThe Patient Care Technician is responsible for documenting all activities performed in accordance with established policy. Key duties include:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, feeding, ambulating, and caring for surgical preops.
- Collect specimens and communicate pertinent information to the registered nurse (RN).
- Transport patients safely and promptly as assigned.
- Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and record rhythm strips on the flow sheet.
- Six (6) months experience working as a CNA or Paramedic preferred.
- Current California CNA, EMT, or Paramedic certificate required.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Basic dysrhythmia certification (BART) required.
