We are seeking a **"Quality Engineer I"
** to join one of our leading healthcare clients.
** Position Overview*
* The Quality Engineer I provides Process and Quality Engineering support to manufacturing operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers. This role also supports product development teams to help ensure new products meet established quality standards. The position operates within a regulated quality system environment and requires adherence to corporate and divisional policies.
** Key Responsibilities*
* + Support manufacturing in identifying and addressing process defects, including scrap, nonconforming materials, and customer complaints.
+ Assist in root cause investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
+ Review and interpret product specifications, quality plans, and system documentation.
+ Support risk management activities, including participation in FMEAs and risk analyses.
+ Monitor manufacturing processes to understand critical process steps and methods for reducing variation.
+ Analyze quality metrics and assist with product and process improvement initiatives.
+ Utilize quality tools and training materials to support continuous improvement efforts.
+ Work closely with process owners to document product holds, release criteria, and quality decisions.
** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
+ 0-2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Basic understanding of quality engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
+ Familiarity with quality tools and problem-solving methodologies preferred.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
