Kimley-Horn is seeking an Environmental Planning leader to join our Temecula, California (CA) office. As part of our expanding environmental teams, we are also recruiting Environmental leaders for multiple offices across California.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a vision for growth in the environmental planning practice within Temecula and surrounding areas, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit.
Engage in business development, maintain key client relationships, support and lead environmental planning projects, and mentor team members.
Operate in markets driven by relationships rather than geography.
Lead with integrity and sound business principles, establish practice vision, develop business strategies, set goals, foster positive client relationships, communicate openly with partners and team members, and grow the environmental planning practice.
Enjoy autonomy in leading, directing, and expanding your practice as a Practice Leader.
Success in this role offers rewards aligned with performance, with potential for advancement to ownership based on results.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
15+ years of experience managing environmental projects in Southern California.
Established client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, county, regional, and state agencies.
Experience in business development, including proposal writing, scope of work, and budget preparation.
Strong background and experience with CEQA/NEPA.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage staff positively.
Ability to cross-sell across multiple disciplines.
Base Salary Range:
- $140,000 - $230,000
- Eligible for performance-based bonuses.
