We’re hiring a Hospice Regional Admissions Coordinator – a detail‑oriented and compassionate professional who supports the admissions process for hospice and palliative care patients. This role blends administrative precision, empathy, and coordination to ensure a smooth and dignified transition into care.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage data entry and maintain accurate admission tracking logs
- Coordinate hospital discharges and general admission processes
- Overcome initial objections to hospice and palliative care services
- Verify insurance and manage authorization processes
- Schedule staff to meet with patients and families in a timely manner
- Ensure intake documentation is completed per policy
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff
- Communicate empathetically with patients, families, and associates
- Remain calm and level‑headed in emergencies and emotionally intense situations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; college coursework in business administration preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales
- Prior hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred
- Typing speed of 50 WPM and proficiency in Excel, Word, and basic computer tasks
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- May be required to work outside regular hours based on patient needs

Shift
Schedule:
Full Time, AM shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Anticipated pay range
$30 - $40 USD
